South Kohala Waikoloa Beach Resort Lift At The Shores At Waikoloa
The original Waikoloa Beach Resort private condominium complex, the Shores opened in 1986, just five years after the completion of the Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed Beach Course was completed and the first hotel, what is now the Marriott, opened its doors. These vacation condominiums offer some of the best values in the resort and include large 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom duplex units. Views range from partial ocean, pleasing golf course and lush foliage to snowcapped Mauna Kea and Hualalai volcanoes.
The development consists of four main 3-story towers with an additional seven smaller 2-story golf villas situated on a small lava rock outcrop overlooking the 5th and 13th hole fairways. Of the 120 units spread over more than 11 acres there are twelve 1 bedroom / 1 bath units with over 800 square feet of living space and a large covered lanai. There are several 2 bedroom / 2 bath floor plans ranging from just over 1100 square feet to more the 1400 square feet and four 3 bedroom / 3-1/2 bath duplexes located among the golf villas. All units feature extra-large covered lanais.
An extensive water feature with many ponds and waterfalls winds its way through the grounds and a private pool surrounded by palm trees beckons you to relax in the shade or enjoy the large spa tub. Gas barbecues and picnic tables are located near the pool for hosting gatherings. An air conditioned fitness center is located adjacent to the twin full size private tennis courts. Ample parking for residents and guests is conveniently located throughout the property while golf villas have their own attached carports.
